Course description

The Six Sigma for Executives Course is for business (P&L) leaders who are not directly involved in the mechanics of six sigma on a daily basis, but who own the responsibility for its results and financial returns in their respective profit centers.

The focus of the Six Sigma for Executives course is to communicate the overarching purpose and elements of six sigma, the different roles of those who are needed to successfully deploy and implement six sigma and the guiding concepts of six sigma culture change.

Course outcomes

• Used as a primer before six sigma is installed in person by executive facilitators, which minimizes expensive face-to-face time with consultants.
• Provides enough technical material for executives to understand what six sigma is and how it works at an overview level.
• Provides enough managerial material for executives to fully support their respective champions, black belts and green belts.
• Gives executives the basic knowledge they need to own and lead the initiative.
