* For anyone who plans to take a course in the Savvi Learning Environment

Course description

The Savvi Learning Student course teaches people how to be students within the Savvi Learning Environment (SLE). As such, the course is a required tutorial for all students of six sigma courses delivered through the SLE.

During the short (4-hour) Savvi Learning Student course, students learn how to use the SLE to access materials, conduct themselves in a course setting and interact with the instructor and other students.

Course outcomes

• Establishes the code of conduct for effective use of the Savvi online learning environment.
• Teaches all the techniques for interacting with the online system.
• Serves as a reference and guide for taking all future classes through the Savvi Learning environment.
• Students learn how to access course materials and take a class in the Savvi Learning environment.
• Students learn how to respond to discussion groups, exercises and examinations, and how to participate as a member of a team.
