Savvi Learning - Hosted Application
The Savvi Learning Environment (SLE) can be installed in your organization in one of two modes:
- As a local system that resides on your hardware on your physical network.
- As an Internet-based application that Savvi hosts for you in its data center, and that is accessed securely via SSL encryption.
If you select to use the SLE as an Internet-based application, our team of service professionals will work directly with you to plan and execute the configuration of your SLE environment.
How it works
- The Savvi installation team meets with key stakeholders to gather requirements for how the system will be deployed and used in your organization.
- Based on this discovery process, Savvi recommends a configuration for your environment in our hosted systems.
- Savvi then deploys your specific configuration to Savvi-hosted systems, and your administrators are provided full access so they may begin creating users and classes.
- Savvi works with these administrators to train them how to manage the hosted environment.
Results
- At the end of this process, you will have a fully operational Savvi Learning Environment ready for use by instructors and students.
- Using the SLE as an Internet-based application is completely secure and relieves your organization of the responsibility for managing hardware and software systems.
- All your interactions with the system will be protected via strong SSL encryption.
- Your corporate environment will be completely separate from other hosted companies, and there will be no information shared or visible between different hosts.
- Having established good relationships with Savvi service team members, they are there to call if you need further assistance.
