Description

Champion Training and Support is for those who will lead six sigma in designated implementation units, and be largely responsible for the success of improvement activities and projects in those units.

The first two days of Champion Training cover the leadership principles that drive stepwise change, the DMAIC framework for change, the methods and tools of six sigma, the selection of high-impact projects, the selection of six sigma participants and belts and other necessary knowledge, practices, methods, tools and techniques.

An optional third day covers skills needed for improvement ideation and translation of those ideas into high-impact projects. A further option is to add a forth and fifth day of training that covers additional analytical methods, tools and techniques - for those champions who can leverage this knowledge in managing black, green and yellow belts.

The support component of Champion Training and Support entails the specialized coaching, advice, tools and knowledge champions need to fulfill their role as business change agents.

  • Provides the tools necessary for monitoring progress, managing projects and coordinating across organizational lines.
  • Teaches the tools for completing successful projects, alleviating roadblocks, implementing improvements and executing control throughout the DMAIC process.
